Design Background

Obstructive sleep apnea (OSA) affects approximately

20% of US adults and 76.7% of adults agree that OSA has serious health implications.

image.png

CPAP therapy is the primary treatment for OSA.

Nearly half of women prescribed CPAP are still living with untreated sleep apnea., because...

01

CPAP looks overwhelming and medical.

02

CPAP is not comfortable to wear.

03

CPAP is hard to adapt to.

What if I design a CPAP experience for women that is fast-adaptable and uplifting

Premium CPAP experience designed for her, which blends into the nightly skincare routine and uplited sleep experience.

Self Reflection

  • This is my first team collaboration experience, and I learned a lot about collaboration & communication skills.

  • This medical project helped me to develop my research & user analysis skills and helped me to develop a strong base and starting point for future projects.

  • I also continue to focus on CPAP for my first intern in US at Philips and learn a lot through this wonderful experience and start to learn how real word medical industry work in US.

turn CPAP therapy into an enjoyable sleeping experience
